Hamilton Blasts Brophy 70–33 to Stay Undefeated:

In a commanding showing Friday night, the Hamilton Huskies delivered another offensive explosion, taking down Brophy College Prep 70–33 in a 6A Arizona matchup. The win keeps Hamilton perfect at 4–0 on the season, while Brophy slips to 2–2.
First Half: Hamilton Breaks Things Open
From the opening whistle, Hamilton looked like the more dominant squad. By halftime they held a commanding 42–10 lead, putting the Broncos on their heels. The Huskies leveraged a balanced offensive attack, stretching the field and pounding the run, while their defense made life hard on Brophy’s offense early.
Brophy never truly found consistency in the first half. Their offense was often forced into long drives or high-risk plays, allowing Hamilton to dictate tempo and build momentum.
Standout Performances:
Hamilton: Jacob Brown was electric in the backfield — 130 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns, a new career high.

Devante Roebuck also contributed strongly on the ground, putting up 101 rushing yards.
Quarterback Jax Sculley and Roye Oliver III torched the defense through the air too, with Sculley passing for 327 yards and 4 touchdowns, averaging about 10.9 yards per attempt.
Roye Oliver 3th with 9 receptions for 141 yards 3 touchdowns having a day for the sophomore phenomenon.

On defense, Hamilton applied pressure and made plays: • Derrick LeBlanc Jr. tallied 10 tackles, including sacks and forced turnovers.
• Kacey Allen Jr. and Marquis Richardson each snagged an interception to halt Brophy drives. Though outmatched overall, Brophy had sparks of brilliancy

Brophy: Devin Fitzgerald was relentless, racking up 234 receiving yards and 3 TDs. He averaged over 127 yards per game.
- Case Vanden Bosch added 88 rushing yards, giving the Broncos a needed presence in the backfield.
Brophy’s offense had moments, but the timing and consistency just weren’t there.
Game Flow & Turning Points
- After Brophy closed the gap with a drive in the second quarter, Hamilton responded with back-to-back scores to reclaim control and push into a sizable lead at the half.
- The third quarter saw Hamilton continue to pour on points, never easing up.
- On defense, the Huskies forced two Brophy turnovers (interceptions) and broke through the line for sacks and tackles for loss — all of which kept Brophy from gaining traction.
Even when Brophy mounted a push, Hamilton’s depth and execution made it nearly impossible to sustain momentum.
What’s Next?:
This performance underscores Hamilton’s emergence as a powerhouse offense in their division. They’ve now scored over 60 points in 3 of their first 4 games this season. Their rushing attack, passing balance, and stifling defense make them a threat every week.
For Brophy, the loss is a wake-up call. Their defensive schemes will have to tighten, and they’ll need more from their supporting cast around Fitzgerald and Vanden Bosch.
Looking ahead:
Hamilton hosts Centennial next week. That matchup should test their defense, as Centennial has been solid on that side.
Brophy returns home to face Red Mountain. With their offense battling questions, they’ll need a clean game plan to bounce back.
